Drawings

AutoCAD drawings can be viewed, plotted and updated with Autodesk products such as AutoCAD and AutoCAD LT, depending on the need and cost. Over the years Autodesk has offered a number of free viewers that support viewing and plotting of DWG, DXF and DWF files and have red line capability. The current free viewers are DWG Trueview 2007, which allows you to view, plot and publish DWG files, and Autodesk Design Review, which allows you to view, print, markup and measure DWF files. These products are frequently updated or replaced, so you may find newer and better ones available.
